Abstract Benoît Claudon
Benoît Claudon will speak on
Linear Kähler groups
Abstract: Kähler groups are the class of finitely presented groups which can be realized as the fundamental group of a compact Kähler manifold. Hodge theory provides us with restrictions on the groups appearing in this class and it can be used (at least in its non abelian version) to produce factorization results for the linear representations of such a group. In this talk we will review joint works with Frédéric Campana and Philippe Eyssidieux elaborating this kind of ideas and we will see how to use it to establish an algebraicity statement in the linear case.
