Enno Nagel: Fractional Differentiability in Number Theory

We firstly introduce by elementary means, for a real number $r\ge 0$, the notion of an $r$-times differentiable function over a p-adic number field and present their basic properties. In the second part we discuss how they entered the $p$-adic Langlands program by describing a certain unitary norm on locally algebraic representations.
