A conjecture of Artin and weight one forms I, II, III

In this series of talks, I will report on my work in progress completely
proving the strong Artin conjecture for two-dimensional, totally odd,
continuous representations of the absolute Galois group of a totally real
field. In the first `introductory' talk, I will state main results and
explain ideas behind the proof; I will then explain the proof more in
detail in II and III.
