Title: Fundamental theorems in real algebraic K-theory

Abstract:

Recently Hesselholt and Madsen have constructed real algebraic K-theory, which packages Quillen's algebraic K-theory and the hermitian K-theory of Karoubi and Schlichting into one C_2-equivariant spectrum. I will talk about how to generalize fundamental theorems for algebraic K-theory to the real setting. This is partly joint work with Ib Madsen.
