DFG Priority Programme 1786
Homotopy Theory and Algebraic Geometry
The SPP 1786 in homotopy theory and algebraic geometry was established to encourage the flow of ideas and methods between algebraic geometry and homotopy theory by supporting individual and joint projects, and by establishing venues for exchange: conferences, workshops, and exchange programs. We have identified core areas for the SPP 1786:
1. motivic homotopy theory,
2. derived algebraic geometry,
3. differential homotopy theory and Arakelov theory and
4. equivariant stable homotopy theory.
The SPP welcomes proposals for conferences, workshops and summer schools in these core areas, or more generally, in areas of mathematics dealing with the nexus between homotopy theory and algebraic geometry. The SPP welcomes as well proposals for visiting students, postdocs and senior researchers in these areas of mathematics. For details on the guidelines for such proposals, please see our Call for Proposals page.
