Seminar on algebraic surfaces

The goal of the seminar is to learn about algebraic surfaces mostly following chapter V of Hartshorne's algebraic geometry book. We will learn about the intersection product, Riemann-Roch, ruled surfaces, blow-ups, and the 27 lines on a smooth cubic surface.
